Request for Tutor - User Guide

Follow the steps below to submit your tutor request on TuitionLanka.

Note: All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. The "Number of Tutors" field defaults to 1 and can be increased. Fill in the required details for each tutor you add.

Step 1: Contact Details

Field Descriptions

  • Full Name: Enter your full name. Only letters and spaces are allowed.
  • Email: Enter a valid email address (e.g., johndoe@gmail.com). Made-up domains are rejected.
  • Contact Number: Must be a valid number containing exactly 10 digits (e.g., 0712345678).
  • District: The area where the student or parent is requesting tuition from the tutor.
  • City: The specific city where the student or parent is requesting tuition. You can only search and select a city after a District has been chosen.

Step 2: Tutor Details

Field Descriptions

  • Medium: Select the medium of instruction you'd like the tutor to teach in.
  • Grade: The grade level for which the student or parent is requesting tutors.
  • Number of Tutors: The number of tutors being requested for the selected grade. Defaults to 1. Increase the count to request multiple tutors. A separate set of required fields (Subject, Duration, Frequency, Preferred Tutor Type, Preferred Class Type) will appear for each tutor.
  • Subject: The subject for which a tutor is being requested, based on the selected grade. A grade must be selected first before choosing a subject.
  • Duration: Select the preferred length of each tutoring session.
  • Frequency: Select the preferred number of sessions per week.
  • Preferred Tutor Type: The type of tutor the student prefers to learn from.
  • Preferred Class Type: Select the preferred class format (e.g., physical or online).
